The Leavenworth Ski Hill Heritage Foundation was founded by Donald D. White and Kjell M. Bakke in 1999 and incorporated in 2002 to fulfill a fundraising role and responsibility for skiing and winter sports programs in Leavenworth and the Northwest. The primary focus is to develop funding sources to keep our ski & winter sports legacy alive and for the purpose of preservation of ski and winter sports heritage.
Our MISSION: To operate as a not for profit organization established to develop, sustain and expand Leavenworth’s ski heritage. This includes support of youth and lifelong skiing; outdoor education programs and the support of programs that enhance Leavenworth as a recreational destination.
